I am Sophia, a New Zealand-based woodworker and artist. My love of music inspired me to build my first guitar, which then led me to pursue a furniture making course at the Centre for Fine Woodworking in Nelson. My pieces are characterized by clean lines, elegant curves, and a sense of organic harmony that is inspired by nature.
Prior to woodworking, I worked as a data analyst in Wellington. However, my passion for creativity led me to make a career change and pursue my love for creating. I find great joy in the process of making things with my hands. Through woodworking, I continue to explore new avenues for creative expression.
